About the App
We're using React Native and a SQL database to develop the app. The initial work has begun, but there are plenty of different features to implement, and you can choose your preferred focus. Some of the features include user registration, storing and displaying dynamic content, search and filtering, API implementation (such as Google Maps), and creating a dashboard of statistics. We've already scoped out and visualized the features and design of the app through mock-ups, so it's ready for you to dive in.

Your Role
As an intern at Updropp, you'll have the chance to work on developing our app. You'll be coding some of the app's features and design and will have a lot of say in which features you'll be working on. We welcome your input, and your preferences will be taken into consideration. We understand that you might not have experience with developing apps or working with React Native, but as long as you have a go-getter attitude and are willing to challenge yourself, we encourage you to apply. While we'll be there to support you through any challenges, it's important that you are self-sufficient in searching for solutions to possible errors or when implementing features in uncharted territories. Please note that we don't have a deep-tech background person in-house. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside other interns and our founder, Sara, who has experience in UX, testing, and managing technical projects. The app's features and design have been scoped and visualized through mock-ups, so it's ready for you to dive in. Practical
The internship will run for 3-5 months, starting in August or September, but we're flexible if you have other scheduling needs. We also offer the possibility to do the internship remotely.
