Do you have experience in monitoring large construction projects and are you passionate about making your mark on exciting projects within both Metro and Light Rail, which will change and develop the capital area significantly in the coming years?

We are seeking a Project Planner with extensive experience from the construction industry. You will become a part of the Planning Team within the Civil Work division of Metroselskabet responsible for delivering planning expertise to the projects.

It is an exciting time in the company, where we are currently building a metro branch to Sydhavnen and building a light rail connection from Ishøj via Glostrup to Lundtofte in Lyngby. In addition, we are working on the initial phases of future construction projects (M4 Nordhavn and a possible M5), where sustainable design is the focus in both the construction and operational phases. A major investment program has also been launched, which will contribute to increasing the capacity of the Metro and extending the life of the existing trains. Finally, the company has also embarked on an ambitious digital change journey with a particular focus on becoming even more data-driven.
All of these are large projects that require good planning, close monitoring and continuous forecasting, and which will have a major impact on the future of the capital area - and that is why we need you. We are looking for a Project Planner who can be involved in the projects with planning, project management and forecasting as support for the overall contract management and follow-up on schedules.

You will become part of Team Planning, which is responsible for planning and project monitoring. In addition to you, we are also looking for a Senior Planner. With you on the team, the team will consist of 9 people. Your tasks are solved in a mixture of independent work and collaboration in small groups.

Field of responsibility:

  • Overall planning and monitoring of design and construction progress
  • Internal management reporting
  • Ensuring uniform basis for planning and reporting for contracts
  • Assisting respective contracts supervisors in implementing and follow up on contractors' planning and progress
  • Evaluating consequences of delays and changes to overall time schedule
  • Assisting with evaluation of contractor claims in relation to planning and extension of time entitlement
  • Implementing and maintaining planning tools
  • Assessment of resource loading
  • Developing cost and performance curves
  • Contractors performance forecasting

We furthermore expect that you:

  • Are professionally experienced with relevant educational background as e.g. engineer
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience from complex construction works with minimum 3-5 years’ experience in planning.
  • Have experience from international project environment
  • Have solid knowledge of and experience with planning tools in general
  • Have knowledge of Primavera and planning standards
  • Possess good oral and written communication skills in English and Danish

Moreover, you have an analytical, structured, and efficient working method, focused on target and solutions. You have a strong eye on quality and a schedule-oriented approach.
