Here you can find the general terms and conditions for the use of Jobfinder

1. General terms

These conditions apply to any use of the job database and the website, from which you have access to the job database.

It may be necessary to make changes to these conditions, for instance because of changes in the law, and therefore the Data Controller of the job database reserves the right to make changes in it.
If any changes are made, the date by ‘Latest update’ (‘Senest opdateret’) at the bottom of the document is changed.
If the changes are substantial, users will be made aware of this on the website pertaining to the job database. All users are requested to regularly check whether the conditions have been changed.

The conditions apply to everyone no matter how you use the job database or the website. That means that not only individuals, but also businesses, organisations etc., using the job database and/or the website,
and by using them accept being included in these conditions.

2. Processing of personal information

When you register as a user in the job database you voluntarily submit personal information which is registered in the job database.

Personal information is submitted and registered with the sole purpose of letting candidates and employers find each other.

It is important to the Data Controller that the personal information submitted by the users is stored safely and confidentially, and it is vital to always act in accordance with the personal information protection law.

The Data Controller and Processor is:
Teknologiens Mediehus A/S
Kalvebod Brygge 33
1560 Copenhagen V
Tel +45 33 26 53 00
E-mail: support@jobfinder.dk
CVR-nummer: 15 27 72 03

2.1. Which kind of personal information does the user submit?

Personal information comprises, amongst other things, contact information including name, address, email as well as other information concerning education, job experience etc.

A candidate is only requested to submit the information necessary to fulfill the purpose of the job database. Users of the job database are therefore not asked to submit sensitive personal
information, e.g. concerning race, religion, political views, union membership, health information, sexual orientation etc.

2.2. Consent to the processing of personal information

When you submit personal information you give your explicit consent that the Data Controller and the Data Processor may use the information for the purpose of matching candidates and businesses.

Furthermore you give your consent that the Data Controller and the Data Processor may use the personal information if made anonymous, for instance for use in statistics and for comparison purposes.
Personal information is not used for market analysis, for marketing or for any other purpose, unless the user specifically gives his or her consent.

2.3 Passing on personal information

Personal information that can be traced back to a person - information that can identify a user - is a part of a CV, but is only visible to a potential employer when the user actively releases it.
You give your consent in each individual situation to a third party being able to read this personally identifiable information.

When personal information with explicit consent is passed on to an employer it is the responsibility of the business in question to process the personal information in accordance with the law.

2.4 Insight into and editing of personal information

If you as a candidate should wish to edit, deactivate or delete your CV, including personal information, you can do this by using your individual user name and password, see article 3.
Personal information is stored in the job database only for as long as the user wishes. If the user has not been logged in for 3 years, his or her personal information will automatically be deleted.

As a user you have the right to know which information the Data Controller has registered about you. This can be controlled by logging into the system or by contacting support@ing.dk.

You can also contact the above e-mail if you have other questions relating to the processing of personal information, for instance if you want any changes made or want your information deleted.

As a rule the Data Controller or Data Processor will not edit or change the information given.

3. Registration and password

When signing up as a user of the job database you have to create a password which gives access to your own information.

All users are responsible for keeping their password confidential. You are also responsible for all use of your profile whether or not the use is authorised by yourself.

As a user you accept to immediately notify the Data Controller or Data Processor if there is a risk of, or has been, unauthorised use of your password.

4. The purpose of using the job database

The job database may be used for legal purposes solely by people seeking employment and information about career opportunities and by employers seeking employees.

As a user of the job database you declare that you will not use the job database to put out insufficient, wrong or incorrect information which is not consistent with your accurate and truthful CV.

Users of the job database also accept not inviting to franchising, ‘pyramid games’, ‘club memberships’ or arrangements concerning negotiation, representative agencies or other business opportunities
where this requires payment once, periodically, by provision (with no actual salary to speak of), or where recruitment of other members, distributors, agents or the like is required.

5. Responsibility for content in the job database and its website

As a user you are responsible for your own information and for the consequences of placing them in the job database and on its website.

The Data Controller acts as a passive channel for the online distribution and publishing of information from the users and neither the Data Controller nor the Data Processor has any duty to investigate
information and material placed by the users on the website. Therefore there is no guarantee that the content on the website is correct.

The Data Controller asks all users to be aware that via this service, you may come into contact with persons or businesses who are not who they claim to be. As a user you accept any risk connected with
transactions with other users you come into contact with through the job database or the website.

If the Data Controller or the Data Processor becomes aware that there is information in the job database or on the website which is not consistent with these conditions,
the Data Controller or Data Processor may remove this information immediately. This also applies if there is information or the like which may lead to responsibility being
put upon the Data Controller or Data Processor or which may mean that the Data Controller or Data Processor risks losing services from their suppliers.

As a poster of content on this website you vouch for having the rights to all material placed on the website.

The job database and its website may contain links to other websites belonging to a third party. These links are there solely as a service for the users of the job database, and their placement on the website
does not mean that the Data Controller or the Data Processor have approved the content of the websites in question. All use of these links and your movements on the websites in question is at your own risk.

6. Renouncing responsibility

The Data Controller and Data Processor can in no way be made liable for compensation in connection with any use of the database or its website.
The examples given below show no limitations of this but are solely examples of situations etc., where the Data Controller and Data Processor can take no responsibility.

The Data Controller and Data Processor do not vouch for whether information posted by users is true or correct, just as the Data Controller and Data Processor do not condone any views expressed by the users.

As a user you therefore accept that any use of materials etc., published by users is at your own risk. As a user you are solely responsible for content and any CV or other material that you place in the job database or on the website at large.

It should be emphasised that neither the Data Controller nor the Data Processor vouches for the employers actually being able to offer the applicants a job or that the candidates are able to fill out a particular job.
The Data Controller and Data Processor also accept no responsibility for anything concerning the employment of a person where the contact has been made via the job database or the website.

The Data Controller and Data Processor do not guarantee that the website works flawlessly or that the website or its server are free from computer viruses or other harmful mechanisms.
If use of the website, including material found at the website, results in equipment or data having to be serviced or replaced, the Data Controller and the Data Processor are not responsible for the costs connected with this.

The Data Controller, Data Processor, suppliers or other parties with relation to the job database and/or the website are not liable to pay compensation for any damages or loss resulting from the use of or the lack of opportunity
to use the job database or material placed on the website.

7. Indemnification

As a user you agree to defend and indemnify the Data Controller and the Data Processor as well as their employees, board members and agents in terms of any economic or other damage as well as any demand, lawsuit or other demand,
including reasonable lawyer and accountant costs made or arisen in connection with use of the database and/or its website, including a user’s breach of these conditions.
The Data Controller must immediately inform the user of any such demand, lawsuit or any legal proceedings, and the Data Controller must - at the cost of the user - assist with a defense of the user in connection with any such demands, lawsuits or legal proceedings.

8. Expiration

This agreement begins when the user clicks the button ‘I accept’ and it applies as long as the user is registered as user in the job database or until new conditions replace these, see article 1.

The Data Controller or Data Processor may at any time cease the registration of a user, including deleting the registered information, if the user breaches these conditions or if the Data Controller or
Data Processor are unable to verify or authenticate information placed by a user in the job database or on the website. In that case the agreement between the user and the Data Controller ceases.
