Centrica Energy is an international energy asset management company, that provides physical and financial optimization of renewable and conventional energy assets operating on energy markets in Europe. The IT department consist of 100 employees with a management group of 9 Team Leads and a Head of IT. We work with the latest technologies and use agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban to ensure fast and valuable deliveries to our business.

We are currently looking for an ambitious and proactive person to support the Management Group in IT Development.

Who are you?

You are either presently studying or intending to pursue a master’s degree in IT Management, Communication, Organization and Strategy or a related field. Your goal is to gain experience in working within an international company with software as a differentiation capability.

We want you to contribute with the latest ideas from either IT Management, Communication, Marketing, and Agile methods to support the Management Group. Deep IT-knowledge is not required, but we do expect you to be proactive and accountable for the task assigned to you.

The role

The expected tasks would be (But not limited to):

  • Serve as Executive Assistant to Head of IT, Vathanan Kumarathurai.
  • Prepare presentations for senior management and department meetings.
  • Lead smaller analysis tasks and projects in IT development.
  • Actively promote department within organization.
  • Offer input to enhance departmental communication.
  • Support Management Group and participate in improvement initiatives.
  • Provide Ad Hoc support on strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate onboarding of new employees.
  • Assist Management Group with practical errands.

 

The Executive Assistant will make sure to prepare you for the role.

Working hours: 10-15 hours per week, with flexibility for fewer and more hours depending on holiday periods and exams.
