The job
As Product Safety Compliance Specialist, you will become the 7th member and a key part of our highly motivated compliance team. Each member has their own area of responsibility and you will find that one of your most important tasks is to communicate and coordinate among colleagues across the organisation.

You will be responsible for monitoring global regulations and standards related to electronics and mechanics for example in relation to CE marking. Furthermore you will assist the organization in determining the specific regulations and standards that are to be followed for a specific product when it comes to product safety.

The organization will rely on you to help them understand and interpret regulations and standards that they have to follow.

Primary task

  • Manage compliance programs in the organisation (f.ex. CE marking)
  • Assess, advice and train important stakeholders
  • Develop and oversee monitoring and control systems to prevent and handle violations of external regulations and internal policies
  • Keep up to date on relevant regulations and update procedures, reports etc. accordingly and inform stakeholders to prevent risks

Qualifications
The role is challenging and diverse, and will ideally suit a confident driven individual with a strong background in electronics and regulatory affairs.

In regard to your previous work experience in-depth knowledge of LVD and EMC is a requirement. If you have worked with standards related to the safety requirements for electrical equipment for laboratory use this will be considered an advantage. You don't have to speak Oxford English, but we do expect you to communicated fluenly in English fluently since you will be working in an international environment. 

Personal skills

  • Has a strong interpersonal and communication skills both as a presenter and as a facilitator
  • is able to explain complex information in a clear, concise and compelling manner
  • is a great organiser with excellent planning skills
