ASIC Project Manager

About the job
As our new ASIC Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing all aspects of ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) projects from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, issues, mitigation plans and escalations. You will be part of our project team, reporting directly to our Program Director based in France and will work closely with the ASIC Team in Denmark throughout the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include

• Develop ASIC project plans to ensure successful delivery within budget and deadlines.
• Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project and program life cycle.
• As the main contact with the customer, manage any project issue and propose mitigation plans.
• Identify and develop trusted adviser relationships with project and program stakeholders.
• Chair the project management team meetings, coordinate multidisciplinary efforts between all departments and engineering areas for the project to ensure smooth progress and completion.  Bring potential conflicts of resource limitations to the attention of the Director or other department managers.
• Coordinate with engineers and technical experts to ensure completion of customer correspondence and maintenance of project schedules.
• Owner of reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
• Provide reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership

Requirements

• Master or B.S. in Engineering (Microelectronics preferred)
• From 3 to 5 years’ experience in project management or 5 years engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ASIC experience is a strong plus!
• Fluent English
• Driven, organized, with strong leadership and communication skills

Location & Travel
The role will either be based at our office in Denmark. However travel once/twice per month is expected.
