IT-Supporter

ConvaTec B2B is a global leader specializing in the development, production and marketing of sterile disposable medical devices for treatment of diabetes and other conditions. The company is growing rapidly and located in Osted near Roskilde.

We are seeking a committed, service-minded staff, which will help us raise support to a new level. The tasks range widely and include diagnosing and solving issues for both hardware and software, running both global and local projects and tasks defined as ‘out of scope’ of our 3rd party desktop support vendor.

You will be part of a global team of IT professionals and will report to leadership in the UK, your primary area of focus will be Unomedicals Denmark plants - but you may be asked to lead global projects on occasion. You will join a team with exciting challenges and the opportunity to make a difference and be an important key player, you will be Denmark’s IT point of contact to ensure IT efficiency.

Main tasks:

• Hardware configuration including (but not limited to) telephones, label printers, label scanners and time and attendance/door access control devices
• Non-standard software installation and hardware support
• Perform simple maintenance tasks for a range of hardware devices
• Resolution of support tasks, including timely management of activities via an online ticket system
• Coordination and follow-up support responsibilities within the IT department
• Follow-up on tasks with users
• Collaborate with colleagues inside and outside the IT department, both locally and globally within ConvaTec and Unomedical

Qulifications

• Education as IT Support frontline PC supporter or the like
• Min. 3 years’ experience in IT support and direct customer service
• Experience with setting up printers and other hardware devices
• Experience with Windows versions and Office 365
• Experience with PC network installations and hardware
• Technical flair and great interest in IT in general
• Good oral and written expression skills
• Speak and write fluent English and Danish
• Good documentation skills
• Preferably teaching experience in IT systems and programs
• Is a good communicator and patient with users
• Open and helpful by nature
