Student Assistant (IT Contract Management)

About the job

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administration and management of the contract repository, ensuring its accuracy and relevancy.
  • SLA reporting, volume report comparisons and analytics, communicating these insights to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Improve contract management processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support contract managers with various tasks, such as contract renewals, negotiations, and other contract-related tasks.
  • Supplier validation and managing relations with vendors, including regular communication and coordination.
  • Participation in procurement and contract management projects, with a focus on quality initiatives and cost-saving strategies.
  • Assist in change management, strategy work, and project management.
  • Be an active participant in the Student Assistant Community, contributing to its lively and supportive environment.

The position is 15-20 hours per week, with the possibility of flexible scheduling to accommodate studies. The role allows for remote work as well as in-office work.

About you

You are student in Business, Communication, or IT-related area, ideally with some experience in a similar role, but this is not a requirement. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively across cultures, work well in a team, and show eagerness to learn and take responsibility. Proficiency in English, written and spoken, is a must, and Danish skills are a bonus. The candidate should also have a good foundation in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and be open to learning more.

  • Clear and effective communication skills are essential for interacting with suppliers and various departments within Falck.
  • This includes both written and verbal communication, as well as active listening skills.
  • Being able to think critically and analyse data or information is valuable evaluating suppliers or making strategic decisions. This involves being able to gather, interpret, and draw conclusions from relevant information.
  • Being able to effectively manage and prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and keep track of important information is crucial in a contract and supplier role where there may be multiple ongoing projects and agreements.
  • Ability to work towards maximizing the contract value of supplier engagements. This includes understanding contract details, identifying opportunities for cost savings and quality improvements.

The selected candidate will be joining a team of three colleagues dedicated to managing supplier contracts and engagements. Together, the team works towards maximizing the value of these engagements by conducting diligent contract management activities.
