About the Job

Are you interested in international cooperation focusing on the importance of engineering in emerging tech, the green transition, and sustainable societies? Would you like to be a part of coordinating activities that promote the role of engineers in the Nordic region? Do you have an eye for detail and a flair for organising events and a sharp pen? The ANE secretariat is located in the premises of the Danish Society of Engineers, IDA.  

Your Responsibilities As a Student Assistant you will support the activities of the Secretariat, you will:

Support the Secretary General in planning and executing events such as meetings, conferences, and panel debates. This entails drafting background materials, communicating with different stakeholders, preparing meeting reports, ensuring follow-up, and handling logistics for both physical and online events, Conduct research, develop engagement documents, and prepare project proposals, Coordinate activities within the ANE Student Network and the ANE Circular Economy Workgroup, and Assist the communications manager with managing website content, drafting news and publishing on social media, and finding relevant content in different media/news channels.  

About You

You are a strategic and analytical thinker, capable of quickly learning and processing large amounts of information. Furthermore, you bring with you a fluency in both English and a Nordic language, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms. We will consider all candidates regardless of academic background. However, we will prioritise relevant experience and studies. You could, for example, have a background in communications, social science, or study international relations.

Interviews are planned for Week 24. Successful candidates will be contacted to arrange a time. The start day is 1 August 2024, and the student will be contracted for 15 hours per week across 2-3 days.
