Would you like to be managing tasks in connection with interfaces and follow-up on progress on Northern Europe’s largest construction? Then join us and become the Interface Coordinator at Femern A/S. 

The position
You will be a part of TUX and TPR Departments – also called the TXX Department. In cooperation with the rest of Construction Division and the different contract areas, you will play a central role in securing that interfaces between contracts are successfully managed and the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link will open as planned. You will have to work closely and coordinate with the company’s design and construction teams and be reporting to the TXX Interface Manager. 

Key tasks
Your main function will be to assist the TXX Interface Manager in successfully managing the interfaces to other civil works contracts as well as E&M and railway contracts.
This includes assistance with planning and managing interfaces in a timely manner as well as resolving specific interface issues in cooperation with the design and construction teams. 
It is also your job to be involved in preparation and implementation of change requests as well as follow-up on progress and monthly reporting on interface activities.

More specifically your tasks will be: 

  • Facilitate and follow-up on Contractor’s progress of interfaces
  • Review progress reporting
  • Review interface protocols
  • Develop and follow-up interface agreements
  • Coordinate actions on internal interfaces
  • Participate in internal meetings and help facilitate agreement 

Your profile 
You have around five years’ experience working as an engineer. You have a degree as a Civil Engineer or similar. The ideal profile possesses the following qualifications:

  • A good overview of processes and a talent to predict the upcoming challenges before they arise
  • Good analytic and strategic skills
  • Able to communicate clearly and visualising important messages
  • Open minded and able to seek information in a large organisation
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office
  • Teamwork oriented and proactive
