You will join our HSE&E department within our Supply Chain & Quality function:

As a Student Worker at Terma, you will be part of a company with a lot of engaged, knowledgeable and international employees, where Continuous Improvement and Performance Management is a driving factor for the culture in the department and the daily work.
Health, Safety, Environment & Energy Management is responsible for the implementation of HSE systems, processes, culture programs, continuous improvement, compliance, customer requirements and more. You will become an active partner working with our strategy and improving our processes under our environment & climate policy with responsibility for own tasks.
The responsibility extends to delivery of Terma sustainability ambitions under the overarching CSR strategy, including energy management with focus on self-production and investment in renewable energy sources. See more HERE

Your primary tasks will be:

  • Challenging and developing our current processes within our environmental strategy
  • Readiness for ISO 14001 certification and CSRD compliance
  • Conduct environmental analyses and support supply chain sustainability improvements.
  • Lead improvement projects within our environmental strategy both technical and data driven.
  • Engage with customer sustainability requirements.
  • Overall assist Terma in HSE improvement work

Your professional qualifications

  • You are a student at a relevant Bachelor or master’s education within Engineering, e.g., environmental science.
  • You have a can-do attitude and are motivated by converting your theoretical knowledge into practice.
  • You are self-driven, able to work independently and not stopped by challenging tasks.
  • You can conduct complex analyses and engage in setup up data driven processes.
  • Experience with SBTi, CDP and in general scope 3 emission work, however not a requirement.

Your personal qualifications

The key point to success as a Student Worker is to show commitment, work with passion both in groups and independently, a proactive personality, curiosity, as well as showing initiative in the daily work. It is crucial that you solve your tasks within set deadlines and with strong focus on quality and detail, of course in close cooperation with your colleagues. You work in a structured manner and can coordinate and manage several things at the same time without losing track. You make things happen and are identifying and dealing with issues proactively. You are excellent at communicating, both verbally and written, and understand the importance of cross-functional cooperation.
