Then you might be the Technical Sales Engineer for the WTG department that we are looking for.
Cadeler is a global partner in offshore wind farm construction and maintenance, and we are part of an industry that is now, more than ever, both relevant and in high demand. As our industry continues to grow, so do we! We are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to prepare, develop and review technical content regarding Cadeler and perform tender-stage engineering.
What will you do?
As our new Technical Sales Engineer, you will receive tenders from the Tender Manager and prepare documents for tender submission including technical qualifications, preliminary method statements, project and operations, time schedules/programs and technical drawings.
Besides this, your main tasks include:
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Project Engineering, Project Department, Vessel Crew, Clients, and Suppliers) with the objective of submitting compliant technical tender packages.
- Performing waiting on weather simulations/evaluations for scheduling purposes.
- Attending exhibitions/conferences in Denmark or overseas and attending meetings with clients covering mainly technical content, technical clarifications of a bid, etc.
- Ensuring proper housekeeping of technical tender files, in both received client technical documentation and deliverables.
- Following up on lessons learned with project department and HSEQ department, including collection and analysis of project data.

- The ability to quickly digest technical information and adapt to business requirements.
- Being a reliable and committed team player motivated to work in an international/multicultural environment.
- BSc or MSc in Engineering; Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, Structural Engineering, Civil engineering, or equivalent degree.
- Competencies in standard and project Microsoft IT Packages (including Microsoft Project).
- Competencies within relevant engineering drafting (Autocad 2D) or 3D modelling software.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English.
Business qualification or education is an advantage and previous experience in Wind and/or Offshore Sector is beneficial.
