Do you have good Matlab, Python and R programming skills and experience with acoustical measurements? Would you like to gain a student position where you both develop your professional qualifications and participate in making a true difference for people all over the world?

Then we have a unique opportunity for you in our System Integration & Verification group in our R&D department! We are situated in Smørum, half an hour away by train from central Copenhagen.

Technical preparation of clinical tests

In our group, we focus on configuring and testing hearing aids and connectivity products prior to running tests but also to prepare audiological tests in our sound studios. Your primary job will be focused around preparation and support of clinical tests.

Some of your general tasks could be:

  • Preparing technical equipment for clinical tests
  • Developing and maintaining tools for clinical test
  • Testing tools for clinical tests
  • Writing documentation for tools

We expect you to work corresponding to no less than 1½ days a week distributed to suit both your and our schedule. This may increase in busy periods; however, we also offer flexibility around exams and holidays.

We are looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible and who is at the final year of the bachelor or the first year of the Master.

Structured engineering student with an eye for quality

We expect you to be an engineering student with a solid understanding of Matlab, Python, R programming and frequency response measurements or similar acoustic concepts.

As a person you are detail oriented, proactive and service-minded. You will work with members from the entire team as well as other divisions in Oticon and should therefore have an open and out-going nature. You can plan and organize your own tasks and ask for help if you need it.

What do we offer?

We offer the opportunity to become part of a large international organization and to experience first-hand how marketing strategies are developed and executed. We have an informal work environment where you will be included in daily decisions and where your input is valued and encouraged.

Want to be part of the team?

Then send your application as soon as possible. If you would like to know more about the job, please contact Christian Stender Simonsen on CHSI@demant.com.

We are looking forward to hearing from you.
