As our new Student Assistant, you will play a key role in assisting the Supply Chain Strategy & Design team with day-to-day tasks. Our team consists of a small, informal, energetic, and ambitious group of young professionals, and our main area of responsibility is to drive and develop the future Supply Chain network design (i.e. number, location, and size of logistics and manufacturing sites) for Arla Foods, which contains more than 60 manufacturing sites and even more logistics sites across the world. Two additional areas of responsibility include driving the overall strategic agenda within Supply Chain and supporting the Supply Chain leadership team.

How will you make an impact?

Some of your responsibilities as a student assistant will be to:

  • Structure complex information into simple and visual Power Point presentations to be presented to top management and other key stakeholders
  • Conduct various analyses and summarize conclusions incl. gathering, assessing & validating data
  • Support team members on project management tasks, and over time, the right candidate will drive smaller projects alone
  • Perform ad hoc tasks in relation to conferences, webcasts, leadership team meetings, etc.
  • Develop material for workshops and support in the execution
  • Support in developing and aligning the overall Supply Chain strategy with key stakeholders
  • Possibility of doing an internship on your 9th semester

What will make you successful?

Ideally, you will be studying for a business or economic degree at the university and expect to begin a relevant master’s degree after the Summer (IEC, OSCA, FIB, IB, OECON or similar). Overall, we assume that you:

  • Have strong communication skills in English (verbal & written)
  • You are an expert within Power Point and solid in Excel
  • Have a very structured mindset
  • Thrive in supporting complex projects and collaborating with cross functional stakeholders, but also working independently and proactively under changing conditions
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You are enthusiastic, ambitious, have high level of energy, and eager to learn
  • Have strong problem-solving skills and enjoys participating in case competitions
  • Will be able to work approximately 10-15 hours per week – with flexible hours
