Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is about integrating people, processes, data and systems to manage product data throughout its life and effectively share this data with business functions and customers. In the PLM Center of Excellence (CoE) we are anchoring our PLM setup in  Arla and we support business functions in developing reports and analysis using Power BI to enable data driven decisions based on PLM data. We are therefore looking for a Student Assistant with flair for Power BI, process analysis, as well as data quality and analysis.

How will you make an impact?

As our Student Assistant, you will become the analysis and reporting expert in the team and you will be part of the shaping and implementation of data governance for product master data in Arla.

Specifically, the role will include:

  • Maintaining our current data model in PowerBI
  • Being a consultant for the business on how to develop and maintain reports based on PLM data  
  • Driving the PLM PowerBI super user community and securing utilization of PLM data through PowerBI across business functions  
  • Carrying out data analysis on large projects based on requirements defined together with colleagues across business functions 
  • Supporting our Master Data Governance Manager in the implementation and monitoring of data governance across product master data

What will make you successful?

You have a sense for details, when it comes to data and you take an analytical approach, when you are presented with large data sets. You are curious by nature, have a structured approach to your work and thrive with working independently.

Moreover, we expect that you are/have:

  • Studying Business Intelligence, Economics or other relevant study with good understanding of data analysis.
  • Experience with BI systems (PowerBI would be an advantage) or data analysis in Excel.
  • Competencies within Powerpoint
  • Solid communication skills in English both written and spoken

Working between IT and Business, you will gain strong competences within both complex data sets and business requirements. The position is based in Viby J, Aarhus, Denmark and will be 15 hours per week.

It will be possible to take up an internship as part of the role in the autumn semester of 2024 (from August – December). As an intern, you will get the possibility to drive your own projects and make contributions with genuine business impact.
