How to contribute to our vision:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Requirements Management (RM) Expert to join our Product Lifecycle Management team in the global Technology organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and maintaining our RM solutions to support requirement management throughout the value chain. This role requires a blend of technical system proficiency, understanding of systems engineering methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

How to contribute to our vision:
The Requirements Management Expert will collaborate with stakeholders within the Technology team to understand their business needs in the context of RM and translate them into user stories which the IT organization can utilize to develop our RM system (Polarion ALM).

In short, you will:

  • Design, develop, and configure RM project templates, workflows, work items, LiveDocs, LiveReport pages, Wikis.

  • Support product development projects to maintain their requirements through the entire development cycle.

  • Extend Polarion functionality using Polarion's extension points, web services API, and scripting in HTML, JavaScript, and Velocity.

  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in ALM practices and Siemens Polarion upgrades to continually improve our implementation.

What you need to make a difference:
The right candidate should have a master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field and a few years of relevant working experience. In addition, you should have:

  • Experience with Siemens Polarion ALM or similar ALM tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.

  • Experience with configuring ALM tools is a plus.

  • Knowledge of integrating Polarion with other tools and platforms (e.g., JIRA, DevOps, Teamcenter).

  • Knowledge of processes and information items specified by ISO IEC IEEE 15288 / ISO IEC IEEE 15289 / ISO IEC IEEE 29148.

  • Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written.
