Migatronic is looking for a business developer who will be responsible for expanding our product program. The position as Product Manager of sourced products is a newly established position and you will be a part of our Product Management Department. You will have the possibility to influence the development of both the position and the department. Your daily work will be dynamic with collaboration across the organization. You will get a coordinating role in relation to the in- and out phasing of products together with our Sales-, Service- and Purchasing Departments. Furthermore, you will collaborate with relevant parties to collect and process incoming demands, with the Purchase department to source the right items, with our Welding Specialists to evaluate the items and with Marketing to brand the sourced items in relation to the additional product program.
Main tasks as Product Manager of sourced products
This position urges an outgoing and energetic person who is able to make independent decisions. We are looking for a candidate with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
Your main responsibilities:
- Business development on sourced items
- In- and outfacing of items
- Preparing and executing a strategy for the business area of sourced items.
- Collecting data from the market in terms of sourced products
- Responsible for the product program and development of sourced products
- Evaluation of the business potential of sourced products
- Preparation of purchase material and specification to the Purchase department
- Preparation of marketing material for sourced products to the Marketing department
Strong business background flavored with excellent technical skills
Your background will include a relevant education with qualifications in the field of business development, technical purchasing and/or welding. It is important that you have flair for business, because we want a controlled and professional growth in our area of sourced products. Moreover, it is an advantage if you have knowledge of the welding industry. In order to hold the position, you must be able to speak and write English. Other languages will be an advantage.
