Process Engineer for Renewable Fuels and Process Industries

Mogensen Process is a partner-owned company offering process engineering services for the Renewable Fuels, Chemical and Biochemical Industries. Our strong competencies make us a preferred partner for our clients who find us easy to work with in helping them in innovative engineering and development of new or improved processes. We are experiencing rapid growth in our incoming assignments; hence we are looking for suitable candidates to join our team. We are looking for a skilled chemical engineer motivated to work with:

• Process design engineering in general, e.g. concept development and optimization, process development, and basic engineering
• Equipment design as well as Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams
• Evaluation of technologies and unit operations
• Feasibility studies

Your qualifications
We expect you to be a strong chemical engineer and a team player, self-driven, have a high degree of initiative, and take ownership of your work tasks with a structured and dedicated approach.

You will also need the following qualifications:

• a degree in chemical engineering or a similar field at M.Sc. or PhD level

• e.g. 1-5 years of relevant work experience is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite. Candidates with more experience, or graduates for June 2023, are also eligible

• strong in thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, separation processes, fluid dynamics and preferably experience in working with heat and material balances in process simulation tools such as AspenTech or the like

• interdisciplinary understanding and ability to collaborate across disciplines

• experience from working in project teams

• excellent English skills, both written and spoken

You will work at our offices in Lyngby and occasionally travel to meet with clients and clients’ clients, in and outside Denmark
