Join us in this role where you’ll play a crucial role within Orsted IT by creating disaster and technical recovery plans, conducting tests of the two plans, and building a framework for them. You’ll also play an important part in managing IT service continuity.

Welcome to Operational Excellence – Centre of Excellence (CoE)

You’ll be part of the Operational Excellence CoE where you, together with your colleagues, will be responsible for areas related to IT service continuity management. We’re a global team that ensures stable IT operations, and you’ll be working with colleagues in Denmark, Poland, Malaysia, and more.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • being responsible for and maintaining the company’s Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) on behalf of the IT Service Operations (ITSO) Manager
  • being responsible for the DRP testing – by agreement with the ITSO Manager
  • being responsible for the Technical Recovery Plan (TRP) framework, including the governance document and relevant training material
  • being responsible for the TRP testing schedule
  • maintaining the TRP templates and storing the TRP ‘masters’ for use and distribution
  • being the crucial point of contact for IT service continuity within Orsted IT.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • need a good working knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure, preferably on-premises, cloud, and SaaS
  • are well acquainted with the scope and requirements related to IT service continuity
  • are able to run several DR or Recovery tests of various technologies
  • can manage communication between the internal businesses that IT delivers to and the technical personnel who support this service
  • are organised, structured, and able to continuously deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
