Our company is founded on a sustainability mindset and have successfully managed to turn whey, a former waste product, into new nutritional and functional ingredients for human consumption. This internship will give you insights into what it means to work at our production site, Danmark Protein. This is the largest production site at Arla Foods Ingredients and you will become a part of a strong organization consisting of approx 650 colleagues working across various departments.

How will you make an impact

Your focus will be to assist in projects related to utility optimizations and be a support to our journey towards green energy supply. We are open to hear about your passion and interests!

As an intern in our team, you will be part of our team from day one and be involved in performing the team’s tasks. We will strive to strike a good balance between your personal wishes, formal study requirements, and our expectations and priorities. The most important thing for us is that you learn a lot and enjoy your time at AFI and find the internship a rich opportunity for professional and personal development.

What will make you successful

We of course don’t expect that you know it all and we will do our best to train you throughout your entire internship with us. However, we do expect that you come to work with a can-do attitude and if you love to see when things you have helped build come alive, then this is the place for you.  Overall, we expect you to:

• Study from a university of mechanical engineering

• Be ready to take on responsibility
• Have a structured approach to tasks and an analytical mindset.
• Have a collaborative approach to work. This is a must because of the fact that you will be working with different people across departments,

What do we offer?

You will join the Building & Construction team at Denmark Protein in Videbæk consisting of 34 colleagues. The team consists of engineers in construction, electricity, machinery and automation and is supported by a technical staff and other professionals. We annually implement both small and large investment projects worth several hundred million DKK.

The internship will take place in the autumn of 2024. Starting in august/September. We offer an inspiring workplace where you can grow and learn. You will be working with many highly skilled colleagues and be part of an organization that focuses on bringing the most value to the business.
