How to contribute to our vision
For our Electrical design team within the Electrical convertor department, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Converter Design Engineer with the responsibility for design and qualification of full-scale converters for the turbines. The Converter Design Engineer will be responsible for the technical solution within electrical design, test, validation, and documentation. You will coordinate and plan the technical activities together with the Product Owner and the Project team. You will ensure that the solution meets required standards and internal requirements, and you will be responsible for solving any problems that might appear during design, validation, or operation. A part of your role will also be to define and agree the interfaces with other modules and counterparts in the project. Your focus will be on delivering the technical solution balancing time, quality, and cost.
What you need to make a difference
You must a master’s degree in electrical engineering or similar with a focus on Low Voltage, high Power design, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Converter Design.
Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for a motivating team player, who is responsible and structured with excellent communication skills. You are motivated by providing quality results within the deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic organization and environment.
As a person you are analytical, systematic and results oriented. You can handle several tasks at the same time, and you can communicate with different stakeholders from different design groups, prototype build etc. You are committed to your tasks and able to drive them through to completion. It is also important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken. It is considered an advantage if you know Danish as well.
