In Denmark we are looking for two candidates for the business areas Plast and Hazardous Waste in two differenct locations

The Care for Potential Trainee Program, starting September 2nd, 2024, is a unique opportunity to use your potential and build your career while contributing to something of real value. The purpose of the program is to provide ambitious young professionals with a structured framework and on-the-job training, as well as hands-on education and invaluable experiences. The program is designed to be both a digital and on-the-job experience with occasional travels, both nationally and internationally. From the program, your career can develop and grow into a variety of opportunities within Stena Recycling and Stena Metall Group.

Using your potential, you’ll embark on a trainee journey designed around your potential, your passion, and your strengths. From start to finish, you’ll experience a varied and challenging program, built on themes that are based entirely on our value chains and our culture. The program will provide you with tools for personal growth, leadership, functional and cross-functional assignments, project management as well as a broad international network of colleagues and lots of fun! After your trainee period you will have gained a deep understanding of our business, developed your personal skills and be ready to take the next step forward with us, based on your aspirations and on our business needs.  

It starts with you.
We need you to have:

  • A degree from fields such as Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Cand. merc, Cand. oecon. or similar
  • Maximum 2 years of relevant full-time working experience after completing your degree
  • Fluent Danish and English communicative skills
  • Driving license (cat. B)

It’s nice if you also have one or several:

  • Previous commercial experience – business-2-business or business-2-customer
  • Knowledge in/previous work experience from sustainability/circularity
  • Industry working experience
  • Knowledge about plastic material or hazardous waste

We are looking for trainees who:

  • Have an interest in and want to develop skills within self-leadership, team-leadership and project management

In the process, we use both survey questions and recruitment assessments. We use assessments early in the process because they help us measure and find potential in a more non-bias, inclusive and objective way. We plan to conduct interviews throughout April and May.
