App Developer Internship

StepUp Air is building wearables based on breathing, a vital parameter that has been much forgotten but contains so much information. For sportspeople, we can significantly improve training efficiency while minimizing the risk of injury. For healthcare, we help patients live a better life. For gamers, we offer a more immersive experience for the viewers. For horse owners, we deliver insights on horse health. We're a team of 18 international people covering a wide range of competencies.

Are you passionate about sports and technologies? 

Who doesn't like coding? Well, not you obviously! We are looking for a part-time or full-time intern to join our small team, starting as soon as possible.   

We're getting ready to launch our product and while our UI is ready, our Android app is not quite functional. That's where you come in! It doesn't mean you'll be doing only this, if you are interested in discovering other aspects of the company, we'll make it easy for you - learning and acquiring new skills is written in our DNA.

You will have many responsibilities and work directly with the development of the core features of the app. It will enable you to apply and increase your knowledge very quickly and discover the startup life. You'll be working along two engineers with knowledge in the field. Being a sport enthusiast and passionate about technology is a plus!

Your tasks:

•     Coding an Android app in native Java
•     Connect to Firebase database
•     Connect to BLE devices

Possibility of working with:

•     UX design
•     Data processing (Python)
•     Website (Wordpress)
•     Embedded software (ARM platform / C)

Why do we need you?

StepUp Air has received early funding and is supported by Innovations Funden. We are currently testing our product with sportspeople and many aspect needs to be improve before having a product we can be proud of. There are many skills in the team (mostly engineers), we could use an extra pair of hands.
