Do you want to take on the professional challenges of working in a world-leading cement and concrete business? With our two-year graduate programme, you will follow a steep learning curve in a successful, well-respected and global company with a solid Nordic footprint. You can choose between an Engineering & Technology track and a Finance & Business Administration track.

Embrace the complexity of cement and concrete
At Aalborg Portland Nordic & Baltic you make it easy for our customers to build with ambition. You work with the most widely used building materials in the world. And once you start to explore the world of cement and concrete, you will be amazed by the fields of application and the magnitude and complexity of the production processes.

Aalborg Portland Nordic & Baltic is part of the Cementir Group, an international supplier of cement, concrete and aggregates. Nordic & Baltic includes Aalborg Portland A/S, a central pillar of the business community in Denmark, and Unicon A/S with 80 concrete plants in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and several subsidiaries in Poland, Russia, Iceland, UK, France and the US.

Two years of accelerated learning with job rotations
Our two-year graduate programme consists of three rotations within the company, designed to challenge and boost your professional and personal skills through on-the-job training and hands-on responsibility. You will receive a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification and a crash course in cement, and you will become involved in project work and join a core team from both the technical and business management functions. To ensure that your learning progresses, you will also get career guidance and a personal development plan. Additionally, you will be associated with leaders across our organisation depending on your track.

Join the Engineering & Technology track
If you hold an MSc in Chemical, Marine, Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering you can join the Engineering & Technology track. Here, you will work, learn and develop at the world’s leading manufacturer of white cement and one of the largest producers of grey cement in the Nordic region. At the Aalborg Portland factory in Aalborg, Denmark, some of the many challenges you can take on include optimization through every step of our value chain, reducing energy consumption in large-scale industrial processes and developing new products and chemical processes at our leading-edge R&D centre.

Join the Finance & Business Administration track
If you hold an MSc in Finance, Business Administration or similar you can join the Finance & Business Administration track. Here, you learn to navigate and perform in a large-scale international organisation and an industrial manufacturing company. During the Graduate Programme, you can work with supply chain optimisation, identification of customer needs and market opportunities, financial planning and controlling among other projects.
