Your Future Team

You will become part of Group SHE, a global function within ROCKWOOL. Our mission is to support the Group and our manufacturing sites across various domains: Safety, Health, Environment, Fire Safety, Sustainable Sourcing, and Business Continuity.

 

What You will Be Doing

As a student assistant, you will work 10-15 hours per week from our office in Hedehusene, Denmark. We will tailor the working hours to accommodate your studies, although there may be times when we will need your flexibility to meet deadlines and collaborate with colleagues across different time zones.

 

As a highly valued team member, you will take on significant responsibilities and engage in diverse assignments to support our fellow team members.

  • Identifying and sharing best practices for safety, health and environmental reporting and conformance.

  • Perform data analysis of SHE data including improving assessment of performance levels in reporting.

  • Support roll-out of ROCKWOOL House of Safety strategy and vision zero to all the factories.

  • Preparing data reports on various SHE topics for the Group and for production.

We provide on-the-job training, allowing you to gain relevant experience while maintaining the independence to work autonomously.

 

What you bring

You have just started your master’s studies or are finishing the last year of your bachelor's degree. Your studies will have a focus on safety and environmental aspects of production including engineering.

Proficient skills in English are required. Previous experience working with large data sets, reporting schemes etc. is an advantage.

 

Who you are

You are curious, enjoy collaborating and communicate with many different people and an energetic student that is ready to take responsibility and execute diverse tasks.

 

We are imaging that

  • you are eager to learn how SHE aspects are handled by a big industrial company, hands-on and from our team.

  • you have an analytical and structured mind and strong experience with analysing large amounts of data to create clear insights.

  • you are highly skilled in Excel, especially within graphs and pivot table. SAP knowledge is a bonus.

  • you work systematically, keeping the overview to secure high standards in deliveries

  • you are creative in task solving and work independent.

  • you are proactive, ambitious and with a strong drive.

  • you are a team player that seeks to engage with colleagues.

  • you are proficient in MS Office
