Welcome to Global Sustainability and External Engagements
The team in Global Sustainability is responsible for setting the overall strategy and ambition level for Novonesis’ sustainability activities and supporting implementation. Central to this work is the translation of sustainability trends and requirements into targets and actions across Novonesis. Currently, we are looking for a talented, motivated and hard-working student assistant to join us. Based out of our Lyngby office, starting this May, we currently have an opportunity within the team to support insight gathering, partnership development and outward facing platforms and channels.

In this role, an ability to think holistically and work pragmatically are key. You’ll be asked to collaborate closely with the rest of the team and add your own life experiences, skills and personality to the tasks at hand.

The position is based in Lyngby, reporting to the Head of Sustainability Partnerships, for 15-20 hours per week.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Researching, reviewing, and analyzing relevant sustainability data and trends, incl. international negotiations relating to climate, biodiversity and environmental issues

• Assist planning of stakeholder and partnership outreach activities, including external platforms and public profiling for the organization  

• Conducting stakeholder and partnerships analyses including estimating the relevance and attractiveness of new opportunities and developing initial business cases

• Supporting project management and administration, as well as the creation of written content and materials including presentations

The schedule is flexible – including and especially during exam periods or at times when you need to give your studies your full attention. And if writing a thesis, we’ll also look to see where and how we can help. In return, we expect you to put in an extra effort when needed.

The position is aimed at those who:

• Are either at the end of a Bachelor (BA, BSc) or beginning of a Master (MA, MSc) program

• Are enrolled in a relevant study program and have a strong interest in sustainability

• Have professional proficiency in both oral and written English

• Have a strong analytical and collaborative mindset, natural curiosity, and ability to translate insights into outputs

• Have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
