Your Team 

The German project development team consists of 8 full-time colleagues and one student assistant at the headquarters in Søborg, Copenhagen, in addition to three local offices in Germany. We screen for new opportunities and develop projects in Germany. As our new Student Assistant, you will get valuable insights into the renewable energy market and knowledge of project development from start to finish.  

 

How you will create an impact 

In collaboration with experienced and motivated colleagues, you will support the development of wind and solar (PV) projects, which will give you a technical, financial, and administrative understanding of renewable energy assets, and you will have plenty of opportunities to contribute with internal and external workstreams in this role. If you are curious to learn about the renewable energy sector and kick-start your career in a meaningful company with great development opportunities, then read further. 

 

Main responsibilities 

  • You will assist in technical aspects of project development, e.g. creating maps and layouts, drawing detailed construction plans, and sending inquiries to subcontractors 

  • You will support our team with administrative tasks including correspondence circulation, data management, archiving for wind/solar projects, etc. 

  • You will support the team with the permitting process of projects in wind or solar with a strong focus on repowering 

  • You will assist with research activities on market regulations and new project opportunities (e.g., Power-to-X, batteries, laws related to PV/Wind, new subcontractors, business partners, etc.) 

  • You will assist with ad hoc tasks, e.g. documentation in our Project Management tool 

 

Your Profile  

  • You are currently studying in your last year of your Bachelor's or your first year of your Master's at university level or an equivalent institution within the field of renewable energy, engineering, sustainability, or similar  

  • You are fluent in German and English 

  • You are skilled in GIS. It is an advantage if you have experience in AutoCAD and WindPRO/WAsP 

  • You have a technical and commercial understanding of the renewable energy industry 

  • You are a confident user of Microsoft 365 products 

  • You have profound knowledge and a strong interest in the renewable energy industry, in-depth knowledge in grid-related topics and/or construction is a plus 

  • You are open-minded and eager to learn

Start Date: As soon as possible 

Hours: 10-20 hours per week with flexibility in exam periods
