Are you a tech-savvy student who enjoys creating and structuring web content? Do you have a flair for design and communication? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

How you will make an impact

You will join a growing and ambitious team of program managers in the APS & Digital Transformation Management Office (TMO) in Supply Chain (SC). The team is primarily responsible for the planning and execution of strategic initiatives in Production – most notably the portfolio management and scaling of solutions developed in the SC Digital program, as well as the development and continuous improvement of the Arla Performance System.

Even though your home team will be based in Denmark, Sweden and Germany, you will get the chance to work regularly with teammates and colleagues from 10+ nationalities, with anywhere between a few months to several years of experience in the dairy industry.

As a Student Assistant in our APS & Digital TMO, you will primarily be responsible for maintaining and creating engaging content for an important internal SharePoint platform in Supply Chain. Your role will involve collaborating with team members and subject matter experts in the organization to ensure that our main SharePoint pages continue to be visually appealing, user-friendly, and effective at communicating information to our stakeholders. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in web design and digital content management.

  • Maintain and update existing SharePoint pages with relevant content, including documents, how-to guides, illustrations and third-party references.
  • Collaborate with team members and subject matter experts to design and create new SharePoint pages tailored to specific projects or initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency in branding, formatting, and usability across all SharePoint sites.
  • Monitor site analytics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Assist with training sessions or workshops to educate team members on SharePoint best practices and functionalities.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in web design and content management (e.g. AI tools like Copilot and ChatGPT).

What will make you successful

Your proactive mindset and can-do attitude are the most critical ingredients to help you thrive in this position. You have an attention to detail and are self-driven to learn and continuously improve. You are willing to jump into new challenges and are not afraid to ask for help. You understand the need to independently deliver according to deadlines and take responsibility for the quality of your work. A good sense of humor and a team-player mentality are very helpful as well. Furthermore you have/are:

  • Enrolled as a student in university or college program for at least one full year from the time of applying (please indicate your expected graduation year and month in the application)
  • Passion for web design and digital content creation.
  • Strong creative and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with SharePoint or other content management systems is a plus but not required.
  • Abilities within English written and verbal communication (Danish is not required for the role)

What do we offer?

By joining the APS & Digital TMO, you will not only get a behind-the-scenes look at how a large food manufacturer like Arla operates, but also get hands-on experience with transformation projects in Supply Chain. In this position, you will furthermore get the chance to experiment with new digital tools and technologies that you are interested in, as well as develop professionally and personally in a fail-safe environment. You will also have the opportunity to learn from teammates and stakeholders working with operational excellence, change management, IT project management and strategic project management on a daily basis.

In the role, you will be able to work for 10-15 hours each week alongside your studies and have the ability to design your schedule flexibly around your studies and exams. Your team will make sure that all key meetings and events will be planned around your availability. You will also have the possibility to work remotely most of the time, but can also work from one of our offices.
