Solution Architect

About the job
As a Solution Architect at INVISIO, you will collaborate with project teams and product managers to create future products and services.
You will be part of a team of other Solution Architects and function as “Feasibility Lead,” which means you will assess, design, and validate the feasibility of new solutions in a cross-functional team with product managers, UX, and technical discipline leads. The solutions are designed with “Desirability” and “Viability” Leads who handle our designs' user- and business aspects.
The Feasibility Lead is also responsible for the overarching architecture of INVISIO solutions across disciplines, including firmware, mechanical, electronic, and signal processing.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and specify new technology platforms that can be utilized across projects and solutions.
- Ensure the optimal cross-functional solution between the R&D disciplines.
- Support project managers and engineers in specification and project execution.
- Support design and development of pretotypes and prototypes solution.
- Design tests to verify technology and use cases in cooperation with Desirability Lead.
- Travel to and engage with end-users and technology partners to align and understand behaviors, needs, and improvements/opportunities.
About you
We're seeking someone who is open-minded, curious, driven, takes ownership, and can work effectively in flexible situations. An interest in INVISIO’s markets, customers, and end-users and a commitment to learning more about our target groups are essential to succeeding in this role.
Further requirements:
- You have an engineering background or similar education and at least three years of experience in system/solution architecture for both physical and digital product development.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technology concepts and strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You have a team-oriented personality but can also work independently.
- You can maintain a good overview of an entire platform/solution while also being able to dive into details when needed.
- You can travel at least ten days a year.
- Domain knowledge within defense, communications, and audio is a plus.
- Experience in cross-functional work with non-technical stakeholders is a plus.
