Internship within designing, project engineering and construction

We have already collaborated with many students, who have helped us with new and exciting solutions, and we are currently looking for new students to do the same. In fact, we have employed several of our interns after their graduation, and we hope that we can keep doing so.

Eurowind Energy is an energy company, which means that we develop and operate energy parks of wind and solar power both in Denmark, the rest of Europe and the US. We are around 500 employees and our headquarter is located in Hobro. Based on a significant own portfolio, we have more than 1.600 MW of operating assets under management in several countries.

We are looking for innovative ideas and the latest knowledge
You will be part of the department Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) where you will participate in the daily work around projects and development. In this department, we have the responsibility to project and design new wind and solar parks. We purchase all the necessary materials from the largest onshore wind turbines to small cables for inverters for the solar parks. We carry out procurements and make agreements with contractors and handle the construction until the energy parks are commissioned and deliver new green energy.

As you might sense you will never be bored in the EPC department! Your tasks could among others be:

• Participating in and contributing to the design of our energy parks
• Participating in the procurement process, including negotiation with entrepreneurs and the following agreement process
• Purchasing materials and enter into contracts with suppliers, participating in contract negotiation and follow up at the site
• Obtaining planning permission and having the dialogue with landowners and authorities.
• Follow up on budgets and timelines in both project and construction phase

About you
Maybe you are studying to become construction architect, electrical contractor or similar. Maybe, you have already grabbled with some of the above tasks, but most importantly – you want to contribute with your knowledge and your excellent questions. You will participate in many of the daily tasks, and therefore, we emphasize that you have a great drive and thrive on meeting many different people.
