Internship, Sustainability PMO

Do you want to help deliver Arla’s CO2 ambition by finding opportunities for carbon savings through data analysis and supporting on implementation of initiatives?

We are seeking a motivated and data-minded person to join our Supply Chain Sustainability PMO. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in analyzing energy data and identifying opportunities for energy savings. As an intern, you will work closely with our sustainability team and our dairies to support our efforts in improving energy efficiency and achieving a 63% reduction in scope 1+2 emissions.

How you will make an impact

You will help identifying opportunities by;

• Analyzing energy consumption data from our energy management system, but also utility bills, metering systems, and building management systems.
• Identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies in energy data to pinpoint areas of energy inefficiency.
• Gathering information on energy-saving best practices, technologies, and industry standards.
• Assisting in assessments to identify potential energy-saving opportunities.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Preparing reports and presentations summarizing findings, recommendations, and potential cost savings.
• Supporting the implementation of energy management projects, including monitoring and verification of energy-saving measures.

What will make you successful

We are looking for someone, who are enthusiastic about sustainability and data and currently pursuing a degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, supply chain, or a related field. Furthermore you have:

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Python, R, or other statistical software).
• Familiarity with energy concepts, energy efficiency measures, and sustainability practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
