Your role as our intern

As our intern, you’ll be part of the Electrical Operation Team and your responsibilities include the daily operation, maintenance and optimization of +500 MW electrical infrastructure in the voltage range up to an incl. 60 kV. With this role, your primary tasks include:

  • Assist in operation of electrical infrastructure grid and electrical installations trough SCADA systems
  • Assist the team in planning shutdowns related to planned maintenance and other work on or near electrical installations
  • Help with the digitalization of tools and processes for electrical operations and KLS-D documents
  • Optimization of operational strategy to increase operational reliability
  • Updating and follow up on agreements with utility companies and subcontractors
  • Assist in instructing internal personnel on safety issues
  • Inspect and quality asses work done by subcontractors
  • Technical support to other departments regarding electrical infrastructure
  • Updating and follow up on functional requirements for future parks
  • Ad hoc tasks

As our intern, you’ll collaborate with various key stakeholders within the departments of Special Tasks, EPC, Technical Asset Management, service providers and utility companies.

 

Your education and skills

Your experience and background can vary but we imagine that you are studying to become either a marine engineer, electrical engineer, or similar, but most importantly – you want to contribute with your knowledge and your excellent questions. Prior experience with electricity and/or an interest in high-voltage work are welcomed.

In addition to your education, we a looking for an intern who possesses a natural curiosity, takes a proactive approach, brings boundless energy to work and are comfortable with hands-on tasks together with a proficient technical level of English.
