The position

By applying for this internship, you will get the chance to be matched for an internship around the organization where you will work within some of the following areas: Applications / Software Development, UX/UI Design, Data Science & Engineering, Business Analytics, IT Automation, Support and Operations, Digital Innovation and Transformation and Process improvement.

The tasks will vary greatly depending on the department and role. You can expect to become a valued member of a team, where people will be eager to learn from you and your perspectives, as well as take the time to give you helpful insights. You will meet many colleagues within your team, department, or even across the organization, where you will get to manage many stakeholders. Depending on your passion and what you are motivated by you will be able to affect which assignments you will take on.

Practicalities:

  • Internship period: 6-12 months
  • Working hours: between 18-37 per week (most of the work will be on site with flexibility during exam periods)
  • A Danish full-time work permit is required

If your educational track allows, the internship is remunerated. Please note that it is only possible to have an internship within Novo Nordisk once, regardless of its duration. Location is in Hillerød and you must be living in Denmark for this internship.

Qualifications

You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Scientific Education, Data Science/Analytics, Data Engineering, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, IT & Automation, or another relevant field and you have at least 6 months left of your studies. We are looking for interns who are keen to learn and able to manage their own time. It is an advance if you are experienced with tools and languages such as PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, etc., and is used to working with a various number of stakeholders. Fluent in English is a requirement and you need to submit your CV in English.

About the department

Our factory ‘Injectable Finished Products (IFP)’ in Hillerød, also called ‘Factory of the future’, is an ambitious and business-critical area in the entire IFP production network, with approx. 1400 employees. Digitalization is worked with in all areas and departments with many different stakeholders.
