Air Greenland is looking for a new CAMO Engineering Manager. The position is fulltime and place of Work is Nuuk, capital of Greenland. The CAMO Engineering manager position is placed in the technical department which consist of total 120 employees and will be referring to Technical manager. Engineering department consists of 10 directly referring employee’s, who manage and secure the airworthiness of Airgreenland aircraft/helicopter fleet and technical support to Part-145. As CAMO Engineer, you will be a part of Technical Manager Management team who have the highest priority on Flight Safety and LEAN development.

Responsibilities includes

  • Ensure compliance of the continuous airworthiness requirements of Continuing Airworthiness Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014
  • Ensure compliance with IOSA and BARS requirements within CAMO.
  • Ensure updated AMP’s on all Air Greenland operated Aircraft types.
  • Ensure Sub part I reviews (ARC) and renewals of Aircraft certifications.
  • Ensure management within CAMO of relevant projects, such as phase in/out of Aircrafts.
  • Evaluate technical information and recommendations from aircraft, engine and component manufacturers.
  • Evaluate legal requirements issued by the regulatory authorities
  • Provide repetitive and recurrent defect analysis to support the company’s reliability and Maintenance Programmes.
  • Follow up and control all work carried out on aircraft in/outhouse, engines and components as well as review and/or assessment of SBs, ADs, Minor/major Modifications.
  • Ensure implementation and update of maintenance contracts and sub-contracts within domestic fleet.
  • Handle Occurrence & Audit reports so that they are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure relevant manuals within CAMO is up to date.
  • Ensure archiving according to regulations

Ideal Candidates profile

  • At least 5 years experience within the industry
  • And 3 years’ experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management.
  • Management experience.
  • Experience within Part-CAMO Safety Management System.
  • Good knowledge of EASA Part-M.
  • Engineering degree and/or Holder of EASA Part-66 AME.
  • Preferable good knowledge of on helicopters, fixed wing jet and turboprop Aircrafts.
  • Good knowledge of Aircraft Documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively and productively as part of a multi-disciplined team.
  • Flexible to work outside of normal Office hours and willing to travel.
  • Good knowledge in IT
  • Fluent in English
  • LEAN skills
