At GN Audio in Ballerup, you will join the R&D Hardware Engineering team alongside colleagues in Denmark, China and US who are responsible for all hardware-related design aspects of development projects. We are a part of the Jabra brand and dedicated to developing and designing state-of-the-art Jabra headsets, speakerphones and other hands-free audio solutions that make life sound better.

We are a high-performing, professional team that is currently going through a thrilling process as we focus on delivering high-quality products with exciting user functionality and optimizing the development processes so we can get products on the market quicker without compromising on quality.

Coordination and technical overview
As our new lead electronics engineer, you have insight into our electronics design, architecture and development systems, and you never lose sight of the big picture when you focus on driving the project forward. In this position, you will get the chance to work with different phases of the projects, from concepting over to execution and implementation of the finished product in close corporation with other disciplines like mechanic and audio engineering.

You will contribute with new ideas for groundbreaking hardware design, and in the process, grow your skills even further. With your solid technical background and keen ideas of how to organize workflows, you will be the cornerstone in optimizing, coordinating and structuring the design and processes. Additional tasks include:

  • Developing new hardware design
  • Leading verifications processes, documenting and preparing for mass production
  • Performing value engineering on products
  • Carrying out early technical feasibility studies
  • Coordinating and planning within the HW team and with other disciplines involved in the project

Electronics engineer with great coordination skills
With a solid experience within electronics engineering, you know your product development, including concepting, design, modelling, simulation, verification, test methodologies, analysis and problem-solving of cross-functional issues. But over the years, you have gained a motivation for looking at the bigger picture and being part of coordinating and planning how we work.

As a proactive and creative person, you do not always take the conservative road, but look at situations with a fresh eye. You are comfortable making decisions in a changing environment, and with a can-do mindset and self-driven nature, you strive to follow projects all the way through from idea to production.

  • Additionally, we imagine that you have:
  • 5+ years’ experience with electronics engineering
  • A relevant education such as electronics engineer or similar
  • A fundamental understanding of RF and antenna design
  • Good stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience from working in a global organization
  • Great communication skills in English – Danish is an advantage, but not a prerequisite
