Team leader for QC-laboratory

You’ll be part of the department’s management team and will have an exciting and dynamic workday. Your primary responsibility will be high focus on support to our production and development departments ensuring optimal planning of the daily operations of chemical analysis. With excellent people skills and a solid knowledge of laboratory processes, you will develop the 18 employees in the team, be responsible for daily output, safety, quality, planning and continuous improvements in your team with focus on the use of automation and digitalization of our processes. The daily work is in the lab together with the team. Administrative tasks are also part, but the focus is to spend time in lab, assist the team in optimizing and increase capacity, and at the same time ensure people development and thrive in a dynamic organization. In this position you need to:
- Have a master’s degree in chemical engineering, biotech or equivalent, or years of experience and solid background within QC laboratories as senior technician, analyst etc.
- Be a proven team player with outstanding communication and networking skills
- Be proactive, ready to take responsibility and skilled people manager
- Be outgoing, collaborative, flexible and have a strong drive for results
- Have practical experience with enzyme chemical analyses in a QC-environment
