Would you like to take the lead of a strategic technical project as engineer in the Pharma Industry? 

…then you might be the new Project Manager at Abacus Medicine. You will get a unique opportunity to drive and manage this Project and you will be part of a small project team with many stakeholders, and report directly to the Global Manager of Engineering & Technology Operations (ETO). Your workplace is at the attractive HQ in Vesterbro, Copenhagen. 

About the position 
Abacus Medicine is about to expand their packaging production capabilities and capacities. 
To support these activities, we are looking for a Project Manager who can lead the strategic project “High Volume Project” (HVP) that can secure the demand and needs of our packaging production for the years to come. You will be expected to travel to Hungary regularly (40 days).

Your responsibilities and tasks
You take ownership of the project from basic design to execution and implementation and at the same time support a good collaborative climate. 
This includes but are not limited to:

  • Project Management: Project planning, budgeting/controlling, risk management, task and actions lists maintenance, vendor management etc.
  • Validation and qualification from pre-lims and risk assessments to URS and FAT/SAT/IQOQ/PQ
  • Change Management: Ensure handover to line-of-business (LoB), training, user manuals etc.
  • Stakeholder management with both local and global colleagues as well as the Steering Group
  • You will be responsible for other similar projects in ETO and Operations & QA after this project 

Your qualifications/experience: 
If you have experience from pharma packaging process and large-scale semi-automated packaging solutions, this is a unique opportunity for further development and expansion of your professional competencies.

  • You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience from an international company - from ex. Pharma or Food industry or in similar regulated industries with focus on project management, production and packaging machinery 
  • It will be an advantage if you know the concepts of GEP, GMP and GAMP5
  • You write and speak English at the highest professional level
  • Danish would be an advantage but not a requirement
  • You are experienced user in MS Office and SharePoint

Furthermore, we expect you to have a relevant degree (Undergraduate (BEng and BSc), Graduate (MSc)) within engineering, production or operations.
