This is a great opportunity to be part of Oticon, a world leading hearing aid manufacturer. You will be working at Oticon Headquarters in Denmark. In Oticon we believe in making a positive difference for users of our hearing aids.

As Product Data Specialist you will be part of Oticon’s Mandatory Materials & Program Support team, which is part of Oticon’s Sales and Marketing organization with global responsibility. The team is responsible for supporting new product introductions, instructions and data sheets, both regarding developing new materials and updating materials already on the market. We focus on delivering a quality experience towards hearing clinics and users of Oticon’s hearing aids. Part of our responsibility is delivering material required to support our products in the market.

Where can you make a difference?
It is important to have the right background and a personal interest in optimizing and ensuring that product data is correct and consistent across the organization. A key part of this role is supporting the program’s control of product data and ensuring data integrity and quality. It is also important to deliver Technical Data sheets in proper time for country approvals and product launches.  

Your responsibilities

  • In collaboration with Oticon’s New Business Introduction (NBI) and Product Management, create Naming Matrix and Branding Tool for half year launches, both for Oticon and Private Labels
  • Naming Matrix defines the name and description of our features, products and what the products should be named in different documents
  • Branding Tool is a new overview of product data, still in progress. Branding data consists of:  Product brand, family and model, branded aliases of hardware and generic features   
  • Create Part Number overview for each half year launch
  • This consist of all part numbers for products for each sales company and can be used to block or unblock items
  • Create and drive Technical Data sheets development in collaboration with Product Managers
  • Preparation of new materials supporting new product launches as well as working on updates and adaptations based on previous versions
  • Collect all inputs for creation of Technical Data sheets for new products
  • Create ToolTip - a feature overview for our Fitting Software
  • Ad hoc tasks to support the team and NBI’s

You have
You have a business or engineering background and to achieve success in your new role, you possess the following:

Professional qualities

  • Experience with handling product data
  • Good technical understanding, knowledge of medical devices will be beneficial
  • Knowledge of creating technical data sheets e.g. from a technical writing position
  • Ability to stay compliant with the medical device regulation
  • Excellent English skills, both in writing and orally
  • Experience within the medical or life science industry is an advantage
