For the Product Life Cycle Management department in our Service organization we are looking for a Service Product Manager. The Product Manager is responsible for further identification of customers’ requirements and for the development of a competitive product development and management strategy within our portfolio of maintenance programs.

The Product Manager drives the development of products within the maintenance programs portfolio in line with customer requirements and is thereby a key role to drive the innovation of our service portfolio, while managing SGRE’s risks. The role is global and requires cooperation with different regions and functions.

What are my responsibilities in this position?

  • Monitor requirements from customers and the market and propose new product developments to create value for our customers and our business by serving those requirements.
  • Lead and drive development of new products, including the development and maintenance of product business cases, business plans and product requirements.
  • Drive the active testing and development of products in collaboration with key customers in such a way as to ensure development efforts receive early and relevant feedback from the customers.
  • Continuously engage and educate stakeholders (internally and externally) on the products you own and their value propositions. Provide training as needed to internal colleagues (such as sales) and maintain suitable training material.
  • Monitor the commercial and technical performance and risk exposure of existing products and propose repositioning or closure of products as and when required.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You possess a master’s degree and have a strong commercial foundation combined with demonstrated technical understanding.
  • Furthermore, you have min. 5 years of relevant experience within the energy industry, preferably from a utility, financial investor, consultancy company or OEM.
  • You possess a strong interest in understanding the business models and challenges of customers, and in identifying opportunities to create value for them.
  • You thrive in a high change, agile environment of shifting priorities and numerous obligations.
  • You have solid experience with both commercial and technical risk management and are familiar with change management.
  • As a person you are ambitious and possess a strong drive and an innovative mindset. You are customer oriented, structured and analytical in your approach and not afraid of making independent decisions.
  • You can demonstrate excellent English skills, orally and in writing, as well as profound networking and communication skills across organizational levels and cultures.
