FOSS Sales and Marketing Grain and Oilseed
Our Grain and Oilseed segment is the most far-reaching segment in FOSS. We provide solutions for every crop - from receival station to final product around the world. We are working with receival sites, traders, downstream food processors such as flour millers, oil crushers, malters, pasta producers, tofu producers and many more.

Business Developer in Grain and Oilseed segment
We are looking for a business developer to strategically grow and expand the Grain and Oilseed business and support operational task of strategical importance. The essence of the job is to identify and solve customers’ challenges when turning their current and future needs into innovative value driven solutions. The job requires that you profoundly understand our customers, competitors and the market drivers across industries, countries and regions.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Develop and create early stage business opportunities in close collaboration with customers and FOSS R&D.
- Develop go-to-market plans for new products and business initiatives
- Portfolio & product life cycle management, to ensure growth and competitiveness
- Follow market trends and industry insights, incl. competitor intelligence.
- Develop and execute Segment strategy

Qualifications
Our ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in either business/economics or science combined with experience within innovation and project management, preferably from the food and agricultural industries. Preferable you have:
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
- Good strategic mindset
- Experience within project and stakeholder management.
- Experience within product and portfolio managment
- Solid commercial and analytical toolbox
- Experience with strategy and business development in a B2B environment
Experience with facilitating value-driven innovation and ideation processes will be seen as an advantage but is not a must.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role, you should have a pronounced commercial mindset, as well as curiosity and willingness to understand our customers and markets. You should be able to bring detail knowledge to strategic conclusions and concrete actions.
We expect you to be self-driven and structured team player with strong communication skills, both written and verbally. You are talented at building strong relationships, as you will be working with several stakeholders.
