We are currently looking for a new colleague to join our VELUX Modular Skylights (VMS) team with the overall responsibility for market driven product development.

VMS are fully prefabricated skylights used in many building types including offices, public and educational buildings and residential properties.

Your challenges
Working in close cooperation with product development, your primary role will be to secure market driven specifications of products requirements, collect sales estimates from our sales companies and securing initiation of product launch preparation etc.

You will be part of a dedicated team of 5 colleagues, and you will play an important role participating in cross-functional projects, cost-out workshops and meetings, providing and presenting market input to PGM.

In addition to coordination of work with larger product issues and supporting SCos with product questions, you will proactively develop product initiatives to drive strategy implementation in collaboration with PRD. You will be responsible for coordinating transitions and inform markets about product changes.

You can expect to travel approx. 30 days per year - primarily in Denmark.

Your qualifications
We imagine that you have a commercial degree or a degree in global business engineering with some years of experience from working with project management where you have obtained technical product insight.

Competencies such as strong communication and collaboration skills are ‘a must’, including the ability to ‘lead the way’ and drive customer perspective in C&C discussions. Furthermore, you are a self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude, you are result-oriented with a pragmatic and dynamic approach to tasks and are not afraid to challenge status quo.

Your strong points are your holistic and business-oriented approach and your ability to deliver quality solutions in time. On a personal level, you have the desire to move things forward, getting your energy from achieving goals.

It is important that you can navigate within a matrix organisation with many stakeholders and that you can drive results in this type of environment.

You have a strong command of English, both written and spoken.
