What we do
At Råhandel we work towards a disruption of the food system as we know it. We are 16 team members collectively representing a wide range of skills and knowledge. Our charming, bright office space is located on Ravnsborggade in the heart of Nørrebro.

Our business is centred around an online platform where small- and medium-sized food producers sell their products to their business customers. Some of our biggest customers include Coop and Kokkenes Køkken. Our innovative solution integrates several aspects of B2B trade, including logistics, order management and transactions, and has been built from scratch. It consists of three parts - our public-facing website, a gated marketplace for buyers and a gated CMS system for sellers (food producers).

Your role at Råhandel
As a Student UX/UI Designer at Råhandel you will become part of the team designing and developing an exciting new food-tech platform. You will be working closely with our Head of Product Design and get hands-on experience with all aspects of the design process including working on a Design System update.

Tasks will include:

  • User Research
  • Journey Mapping
  • Sketching, Wireframing and Prototyping
  • UX/UI Design
  • User Testing

It would be great if you...

  • Are attending a design-related programme (KEA, ITU, AAU etc.) and has at least 1 year of studying left
  • Have big appetite for learning the tasks you're not already a master in
  • Have visual design skills
  • Have a structured approach to UI Design
  • Have experience with Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD
  • Enjoy being part of a small startup tech team
  • Thrive in an environment where being creative and disruptive is encouraged
  • Are inquisitive and consider challenges a way to improve, rather than an obstacle
  • Are proficient in English both verbal and written (Danish is not a requirement)
  • Can start ASAP (not a requirement)
  • Care about food or want to contribute with your skills towards a meaningful agenda

What you'll get

  • A paid student position
  • Mentorship from experienced design and tech colleagues
  • Support and sparring for school assignments
  • Dedicated colleagues with diverse backgrounds
  • An environment where new ideas are always welcomed
  • Flexible working hours and flexibility around exam periods
  • The possibility to work from home or from our new and cosy office at Ravnsborggade in Inner Nørrebro
  • Huge respect for work-life balance
  • Informal work environment full of bad jokes and good food
  • The chance to be part of a fast-growing food tech startup
  • Probably a passion for food (if you don't have it already)

To apply, please attach your CV, portfolio and brief cover letter including the reasons why you think you're the right person for that role. You can only attach one pdf, so make sure to merge them :)
