We are expanding our digital customer experience innovation team, which is a part of e-business; a global digital marketing department in the VELUX Group. 

In short, we are looking for a self-motivated person - someone who would thrive working in a company which offers a broad range of cross departmental collaboration. If that person could be you - then read on and apply for a great opportunity at the VELUX Group Headquarters in Hørsholm.

Your challenges
You will be responsible for conceiving user-test, research and surveys and translating them into sitemaps, wireframes and clickable prototypes. On top of that, you will facilitate sketching and help design the overall functionality of new digital services and iterate upon it to ensure a great user experience. You will do this in close cooperation with other departments across the company and/or agencies.

You will be part of a team with business analysts, content- and requirements managers with the challenge to make the customer experience a central part of our digital development. The team supports the development of new digital applications and services targeted our customers - end users, installers, architects and specifiers.

You should expect up to 20 travelling days per year.

Your main tasks will include to:

  • Make strategic design and user experience decisions related to new digital services, functions and features
  • Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences
  • Identify user experience design problems and devise elegant solutions
  • Take a user centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  • Take smart risks and champion new ideas

Your qualifications
We expect you to have a relevant higher educational background and at least 3-5 years’ relevant work experience with interaction and design thinking. Extensive experience in using UX best practices to design digital services and a deep understanding of mobile first and responsive design as well as expertise in using UX software as Sketch, InVision, UXPin, Axure or the like - is necessary.

Experience using Site Core, basic HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript skills will be an asset, however it is not a prerequisite.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are ‘a must’ including the ability to work cross functional with other departments to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet customer need and vision. 

In addition, you have a strong commercial mindset and you know how to interpret business goals into customer satisfaction and experience.

On a personal level, you see yourself as an independent person with a strong drive, getting your energy from achieving goals. However, one of the most important aspects is that you are honest and authentic in your passion for improving the digital customer experience and are open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
