UR+ Development Support Manager, Odense, Denmark

As our future UR+ Development Support Manager, you’ll organize and drive the technical developer community around the UR+ ecosystem, ensuring fast and efficient support for our committed UR+ partners globally. This includes building and maintaining a strong developer platform in close collaboration with regional teams, develop and facilitate Developer Conferences and support partners in scoping, testing and certifying new products.
Help shape the future of the UR+ concept
We seek to empower people around the world with our Cobots, and you’ll be empowering your internal and external partners by providing code-level support to regional teams and partners. Your contribution will set your mark on the UR+ roadmap through the collection of feedback and requests from the community, as well as through your close cooperation with the commercial management on defining the strategy for the UR+ platform.
In this position, you will report to the Head of Global Applications Management, which is part of Product Management and Marketing. It’s based in Odense, Denmark.
Drive a global approach to applications support
As the UR+ Development Support Manager, you will manage and drive the UR+ developer platform and contribute with content and code samples.
Testing and certifying new UR+ products, whilst continuously coaching, guiding and managing regional teams to ensure a successful launch of these products are also core efforts in this role.
Other efforts you’ll be managing will include:
- Own and develop the processes for scoping, testing and certification of new products
- Conduct and participate in initial scoping meetings (onboarding new developers)
- Run Developer Conferences primarily in Northern, Central & Eastern Europe
- Collaborate with commercial management on defining the strategy for the UR+ platform
You get the opportunity to travel, as there will be approximately 20-40 days of travel per year to conduct developer conferences for partners and seminars for regional colleagues.
What does it take to become our UR+ Development Support Manager?
We are looking for someone with knowledge about software and hardware development and a deep passion for the developer experience. You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with software development in Python or other script-based languages, and experience with customer-facing interaction and support.
You don’t compromise with quality, as robust and reliable UR+ products are a key contributor to the overall growth and success of our company. Your educational background consists of a M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering, Electrical, Mechatronic or similar. It’s a definitive plus if you have experience from the automation and/or robot industry.

Our company language is English, therefore fluency in both written and spoken English is a requirement.
