The position
We are starting on a journey to build solutions that can assist the laboratory in performing Quality Control in Novo Nordisk Emerging Technologies (ET). ET is expanding rapidly in this area and to cope with the increase in demand, we need to optimize and automate our laboratory processes.
Some of your main tasks will include:
- Developing good quality mobile apps with a strong focus on front-end, UI, and UX
- Ensuring that the user interface is clean, easy to use, and serves its purpose
- Implementing and coding the solution (we mostly use Power Apps Canvas)
- Drive testing of app functionalities with laboratory technicians
- Building the solution in close collaboration with your supervisor and teaching the end users how to use the solution
You are expected to be working approximately 10-15 hours/week at our site in Måløv. You will work within all these processes, however, most work will include coding and UI/UX design of the app.
Qualifications
You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, UI/UX design, or a similar field.
- Experience working with mobile app software development
- Strong understanding of software testing frameworks and good quality background in coding
- Experience designing digital solutions and UI/UX
- Full professional proficiency in English (Danish is a plus but not necessary)

Power Apps Canvas experience is a plus but not required.

Emerging Technologies MDEV & QC is a new area within Novo Nordisk where the oral portfolio plays a significant role. We have approximately 250 employees, and we are growing. We work with quality control and compliance of the facilities, the equipment, the QC lab, manufacturing development as well the release of tablets for the market. We are proud to work in a fast-growing part of Novo Nordisk.

We develop and manufacture all oral drug products late phase as well as for launch ensuring that we bring best-in-class treatments to the market.
