UI Designer Intern

Astro.io is a startup revolutionizing the investment platform. The user is at the center of everything we do. Our investment platform takes the user by the hand to make better-informed investments. The user will quickly learn and understand investment terms with our gamified education. The integrated Astro.io community is incentivizing quality content and enables users to share and read investment ideas with each other.

Through better insights and understanding, we want our users to achieve more with their money.

Opportunity
Are you passionate about delightful user interface design? In this role, you’ll implement and design your ideas in collaboration with the team to make a beautiful mobile application. Bring joy to the users by putting the final design touches to a pleasant investment platform. You'll test your knowledge and skills in a fun, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and gain valuable experience.

Profile

• You're likely pursuing a degree in Design, Visual Arts, Communication, Multimedia, or equivalent. Though, we put skills and passion over degrees.
• Willing to challenge common practices in the industry through user-centered, delightful design.
• Innate curiosity for pleasant design and an eye for pixel perfect.
• Programs knowledge: Figma and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), or similar.

You're passionate about creating delightful user interface design. You’ll be supporting the CEO and software engineers in delivering appealing design improvements for the investment app. You have a startup mentality and bring great ideas to the table so we can get even further as a team.

Formalities
The position is a 3-6 months internship. We’re flexible with start and end dates.

Our office is at the Symbion co-working space in Østerbro, Copenhagen, Denmark, which means you’ll be working in a vibrant and highly creative atmosphere.
