UI and Graphic Design Intern

Memorix is a startup aiming to revolutionize education by learning in a Virtual Space. On our platform students create ‘Memory Palaces’ inside a 3D world to memorize easier. The learners are supported by an AI engine that is based on behavior and learning patterns. It is an exciting new product at an early stage and perfect for you to make an impact.

We are looking for a user interface designer to help us further develop the core experience of Memorix on mobile and web. We are currently in the process of building our product based on regular feedback from students. 

Our office is at the Symbian co-working space at the University of Copenhagen South Campus (KUA 1), which means you will be working in a vibrant and highly creative atmosphere within a growing team.

We believe in a collaborative working style with a bias towards rapid prototyping, user testing, and an empathy-driven approach with a strong interest for our users and their needs.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is self-motivated, innovative and detail oriented
• Has the ability and desire to create design for a completely new digital product
• Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of UI design techniques and tools
• A strong working knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools
• Experience with mobile apps would be a big bonus

Examples of your tasks:

• Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
• Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Build the Memorix UI design style guide 
• Work with a team of UI and UX designers to ensure any UI design changes help to compliment the overall user experience and journey
• Help to create UI design wireframes, mockups and final designs across all desktop, mobile and tablet devices
• Support the Senior UI designer to create mock-ups for use in client pitches
• Developing promotional materials for events

We imagine that you are currently studying graphic design, media design or the like and that your internship is part of your studies. The internship is full-time and for 3-6 months. We are flexible with start and end dates.
