Are you passionate about engine combustion, fuels, and electronic control systems? Do you want to play a key role in the revolution of future fuels for the marine industry? If so, we're looking for a new colleague to join our Four-stroke Small Bore Testing & Control Department in Holeby.

In this position, you'll be involved in all aspects of the testing, verification, and administration processes for our portfolio of four-stroke medium speed diesel/dual fuel engines, including both generating sets (GenSets) and propulsion engines. You'll spend your days working with development projects, providing support, studying data, and completing design-related tasks, such as working with engine parts, parameters, and electrical control systems.

Travel is a part of this role, as testing will be carried out at our licensees and customers. However, you'll also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a talented and motivated team in our Holeby location. You will play an important role in:
As a member of our Four-stroke Small Bore Testing & Control Department in Holeby, you'll play a crucial role in the validation and upgrade of our engines. You'll be responsible for planning, evaluating, verifying, and reporting on performance and full-scale engine measurements, as well as validating parent engine performance test and certification. You'll also be involved in parametrizing the engine control system, ensuring proper electrical documentation and engine integration, participating in tests, shop tests, troubleshooting, and development projects, and planning, executing, and evaluating performance measurements.

In addition, you'll contribute to the decarbonization of our small bore four-stroke portfolio and prepare for future fuels and zero-emission requirements. You'll validate the impact of fuels on the long-term operation of our engines.

Working alongside a talented and motivated team, you'll have the opportunity to travel and collaborate with our licensees and customers.

We imagine that you:
To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates who are Marine, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineers or have a similar background. Additionally, you should have expertise in engine performance and thorough knowledge of internal combustion engines and electrical systems. You should also possess knowledge of fuels and the ability to evaluate four-stroke combustion capability.

Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) are essential for this role, and proficiency in Danish is advantageous.

You'll be joining a team of eight dedicated engineers who handle all automation and control systems in our portfolio, including parameters and adjustments. We're responsible for testing new engine types and performance layout.
