Help build Architecture & Development in Software Engineering
In Software Engineering, we are more than 160 colleagues – and growing in size due to an increased demand for our high-quality audio solutions. In this department, you will join and help build a brand-new team of 6 colleagues who will help streamline the way we work across all department teams in the midst of the Jabra growth journey.
The aim is to set the bar even higher for tools and architecture across Software Engineering, ultimately contributing to transforming lives through the power of sound.
Set the standard for technical documentation
Technical documentation across all the teams in Software Engineering is crucial. We need to be able to take over from each other based on the documentation we have – and ensure that all documentation can be read and understood by any developer in the department.
Your job will be to translate each piece of documentation from our developers into easily understandable deliveries of information. This way, we can connect the development of each part of our products even better and make the process even more streamlined. In other words: consistency is key.
Thus, using your technical knowledge combined with solid language skills, you will document the design of, how to use and configure our platform towards each individual product and how to test it all.
Solid experience as a technical writer
- You have a technical background, providing you with the ability to have the technical discussion and understand what needs to be documented
- You have solid experience as a technical writer and are able to translate technical content into easily understandable documentation
- It is a big plus if you can also create technical illustrations
- You are fluent in English
“You’ll have a lot of contact with the different teams – both the colleagues who deliver input for documentation and the ones who need documentation to proceed with their work. It’s all about understanding the essence – and communicate it in a clear, consistent way across teams,” says Morten Nielsen, Senior Software Development Manager.
