For our Component Test Team, which is located at our global head office in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for an experienced Technical Specialist with experience within mechanical design, Finite-Element calculations and mechatronics in general.

The Component Test Team has the overall responsibility of cross-functional projects within testing and is closely linked to the Technology development departments. Our projects vary a lot in complexity, duration, number of subprojects and number of project participants. As a Technical Specialist, you will become part of a team of experienced design engineers, FE-specialists, project managers and engineering specialists.

How to contribute to our vision
As a Technical Specialist, you will lead the way in mechanical design verification and FE-analysis. At the same time be the overall technical coordinator for the projects. You will be guiding our design engineers and FE specialists and perform design and FE work, but also act as link towards our internal stakeholders. You will among others be responsible for test concepts and review of test specifications.

What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

We are looking for a candidate who has a degree in Marine Engineering, B.Sc. or M.Sc. or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and has 3-5 years of relevant experience as a design or calculations- specialist. You have an excellent technical understanding.

We are also looking for a candidate capable of understanding new technology within mechatronics and the ability to adapt new ideas and turn them into practical use.

Furthermore, we prefer if you have gained competences with in:

• Mechanical design

• FE calculations

• Hands on experience

The ideal candidate possesses a proactive mindset, a methodological approach, the ability to work independently and in a team, are structured and good in communicating on all levels in an organization.
